Registration
Since turning on registration here, I have been hit with spam registrations to no end. So I have turned it off again.
Knowing that real people register to a weblog to mostly comment easier, or because they know the owner, I have decided to change the process of registering.
From now on, I shall pre-register people who wish to be apart of this weblog. There is no obligation to join me, as commenting is still allowed, but if you would like to be a part of the weblog, you can utilise any number of the following:
- Send me an email via our contact form.
- Send me a PM at Zathyus Support.
- Pop in to our IRC channel.
- Nudge me over IM.
- Send me a text message.
- Call me.
- Send me some form of smoke signal.
- Ask me in person.
- Ask me via telekinesis.
Spam registrations only happen so the bots can by-pass any comment spam traps. Trying out this system can't hurt, since no real people register anyway.
